Unconfirmed Traffic Events
- A new phase in the traffic event lifecycle
- Allows a traffic event which is entered into the system to remain in an ‘Unconfirmed’ state until such times that the operator has sufficient information and evidence to allow it to be confirmed for wider consideration
- ‘Unconfirmed’ events will not be included in a number of system housekeeping or analysis functions – this will include only ‘Confirmed’ events
Permit Schemes Manager
- Fully integrated facility for defining and managing Permit Schemes
- Stores details including: Start/End dates, time of works, geographical position, disruptions and traffic management arrangements
- Manages all phases of the permit lifecycle (Application->Approval->Variation->Completion)
- Tools for managing response times, fees and associating conditions to a permit
- Analyse scheme/street works conflicts and generates notifications for restrictions
Street Works Manager
- A facility for declaring and managing utility company Street Works
- Publishes notices informing of substantial works – email, fax
- Stores details of street works and displays them on the CDV
- Analysis street works/scheme conflicts and generates notifications for restrictions
Performance Analysis Facility
- Provides tools for analysing the historical data gathered for the network to allow Traffic Managers to assess performance and improvements
- e.g. Improved monthly statistics of congestion, incidents, journey times, casualties.
- Fully flexible analysis and reporting features which permit any possible permutation based on the data held within the CDB
